Day 1: Saigon – My Tho – Can Tho (L) Embark on the Mekong Delta 3-day, 2-night journey at 8:00 am with a pick-up from your location. After a 2-hour drive from Saigon, arrive in My Tho city, known for its picturesque Vietnamese women, lush orchard gardens, and the enchanting 'Đờn ca tài tử' folk music, recognized as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. Enjoy a leisurely cruise on the Tien River, exploring four mythical animal-themed islets. Indulge in coconut candy, visit a honey bee farm, and experience local folk music. A rowing boat ride through a mangrove palm canal and a horse-drawn carriage tour follow, concluding with a delicious Mekong Delta cuisine lunch at a riverside restaurant. Cruise to Can Tho city, the rice kingdom, and the largest city in the Mekong Delta. Explore the vibrant night city after dinner at the hotel. Day 2: Cai Rang Floating Market (Can Tho) – Tra Su Cajeput Forest (Chau Doc) (B / L) Choose between 5 am or 7 am for a meeting with the guide. Opting for 5 am allows for breakfast after experiencing the lively Cai Rang Floating Market at its peak around 6 am. Cruise along the Hau River, enjoying tropical fruits and 'hu tieu' for breakfast. Visit a noodle workshop and stroll through an ecological orchard garden. Journey to An Giang province, the fermented fish kingdom, for a crocodile farm visit and a boat trip in the Tra Su Cajeput Forest, a haven for nature lovers. Check in at a Chau Doc hotel and explore the spiritual site at the foot of Sam Mountain with the tour guide. Day 3: Chau Doc – Phnom Penh (Cambodia) or Phu Quoc Island or Saigon (B / L) Begin the day with a 6 am breakfast, followed by visits to a local fish farm and a traditional handicraft workshop in a Cham village. The Mekong Delta 3-day, 2-night tour offers three options: Travel to Cambodia: The tour concludes at the speedboat gate for your transfer to Phnom Penh. Travel to Phu Quoc Island (Kien Giang province): The tour concludes at Ha Tien wharf for your journey to the island. Return to Saigon: The tour concludes with a 6-hour road trip back to Saigon, including lunch at a local restaurant before reaching the city.
