Description
Begin with hotel pickup in Saigon and head to the Cu Chi Tunnels, an extensive underground network used by Vietnamese guerrillas during the war. Discover how locals camouflaged themselves with leaves, resisted, and created hidden shelters. Experience crawling through a narrow tunnel section and watch documentaries and authentic wartime footage.
At Cu Chi, you can also try shooting with real firearms such as the AK-47 and M-60. Taste tapioca prepared on a Hoang Cam stove, known for its smoke-concealing properties.
Next, visit the Mekong Delta, a serene countryside area known as the 'land of peace.' Travel by boat along the Mekong River, the lifeline of southern Vietnam, used for fishing and farming. Observe fishermen’s ports, flowing alluvial waters, and enjoy folk music performed on the boat.
