MEKONG DELTA FLOATING MARKET EXIT PHÚ QUỐC ISLAND (My Tho - Ben Tre - Can Tho - Rach Gia - Phu Quoc Island) 2 Days, 1 Night Start Time: 7:40 AM DAY 1: HCMC - MY THO - BEN TRE - CAN THO (Lunch, Dinner) 7:30 AM: Pick-up from our office or your hotel in District 1, then head to My Tho City. On the way, we’ll visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, the largest pagoda in the Mekong Delta. Continue to My Tho for a boat trip along the Mekong River, where you’ll see fish cages and floating houses along the way. Switch to a hand-rowed boat to explore the peaceful creek, observing life along the riverbanks away from the city's bustle. Disembark on Coconut Island in Ben Tre and visit a workshop to learn about the coconut candy-making process. Next, our journey takes us to Unicorn Island (Cồn Thới Sơn), where you’ll take a motor cart to a traditional performance site to enjoy Vietnamese music and sample seasonal tropical fruits (included). We’ll then visit a bee-keeping farm to taste honey tea before lunch. 12:30 PM: Lunch will be served outdoors under the shade of trees, featuring special Vietnamese dishes. Afterward, you’ll have time to relax or take a short bike ride around the village on the island. Travel by ferry and bus to Can Tho, the heart of the Mekong Delta. 6:30 PM: Transfer to a local restaurant for dinner, enjoy Can Tho’s nightlife, and return to the hotel for an overnight stay. You’ll have free time to explore Can Tho at night. DAY 2: CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET - RACH GIA - PHU QUOC ISLAND (Breakfast, Lunch) 6:30 AM: Breakfast at the hotel, then 7:30 AM followed by a motorboat tour of Cai Rang Floating Market, the largest and most vibrant floating market in the Mekong Delta. Explore a local village, visit a rice noodle-making shop, and enjoy fresh pineapple on the boat. Visit a traditional market in the city center. 9:30 AM: Depart Can Tho by car, heading to Rach Gia. We’ll stop for lunch along the way. 1:00 PM: Board a boat from Rach Gia to Phu Quoc Island, arriving around 4:00 PM. Tour ends.
